About Kraftvélar

Kraftvélar was established in 1992 and began selling and servicing Komatsu construction equipment and Toyota forklifts with 7 employees. After a few years in the business it was clear that our premises was too small and inconvenient for our type of company, so we decided to build a new headquarters custom made for our business.

In 1998 we moved to a new headquarter in Kópavogur, Iceland, and we are still there today.

In 2000 we offered to our customers a new solution, both long term and short term rental of all kind of equipment needed by our customers.

In 2009 we expanded our product range by buying an Icelandic agriculture company and we claimed distribution for New Holland and Case IH agriculture equipment.

Today we have 40 employees.
